Ok, so us as Americans we use a lot of macinery like the wheel and axle, the wedge , the lever, the pulley, the screw, and the inclined plane. But in Egypt, they used some of these machines like the inclined plane and the lever for work when building the pyramid to push the blocks up and the also used the wedge to make the hieroglyphics on the walls. Q: How did the use of simple machines allow the citzens of Egypt to build the pyramids?
A: Well in the use of simple machines I think that they used:1} The Inclined Plane. With the inclined plane, the Egyptians used it to push the blocks carefully up the plane. The after they filled in the spaces by doing the same thing.2} The Wheel and Axle. With the Wheel and Axle, the Egyptians, supposedly, put the axle through the stones and the wheels around the stone and rolled it up the inclined plane. 3}The Wedge. With the wedge, the Egyptians used it to make the hieroglyphics on the stone walls and and tell stories of their past and of thier ancestors in pictures.
